Simmons employs over 4100 team members; approximately 220 are employed with Simmons Pet Food, Inc.
We are one of the largest canned pet food private label manufacturing businesses in the United States. Simmons Pet Food, Inc. manufactures retail private label brands for some of the largest American retailers. In addition to our private label business, we support several national brands: Twin Pet, Strongheart, Kitty and Fit & Active. These products are found on the shelves of several major retailers as well as regional grocery stores across the United States. The formulas offer 100% complete and balanced nutrition in accordance with the guidelines of the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).
In addition to the two pet food manufacturing plants, Simmons Pet Food, Inc. also operates Simmons Metal Container. SMC manufactures cans for both Simmons Pet Food, Inc. and other outside customers.
